Arline Judge began her career as a dancer in the act of Jimmy Durante. She met director Wesley Ruggles on a train. He gave her a start in films and then married her. Judge's career was spent mostly in low-budget B pictures during the 1920s and 1930s. However, she did gain a measure of fame for having been married and divorced eight times.
